Since I'm flapping my gums, here's a quick memorial to man of conservative values who was a true patriot. No, not Paul Weyrich whose concept of "The Moral Majority" was a mythical apologia for right wing arrogance that leads in a straight line to the abuses of the Bush Administration, but Mark Felt, who as "Deep Throat" guided Woodward and Bernstein in the Watergate investigation.

Besides the inspiration of his courage, I found practical advice in his most famous dictum, " Follow the money". I've used it all these years to gain better understanding of everything from politics to crime stories to soccer and football trades.
