Yeah, I know, it’s “Kinks,” not Kinky.

But I’m down with eclectic. As I write this, I’m hearing “Quicksand” on Rice radio. That’s Margay and Jessie Dean surrounding the guy in the homo- helmet. The Kinkster was in Clear Lake campaigning for Governor when I took that.

August 8th & 9th was open on my home and work calendars, so I’m penciling it in. I pray that Cue’up, the god of cheap airfare, smiles on my plans.

Also, Spring must come. Not the season, the Pollack. And if we can bring our friend Michael J. Bounds along, all we’ll need is a Dinzbier to complete the Banannalogic lineup. That band had “Tired of Waiting” and “Do It Again” on the setlist. A later incarnation, the Silvertones, did “Well Respected Man” and “Sitting On My Sofa.”
At our tribal Christmas party, we did a fair cover of “Sunny Afternoon,” and on my patio around happy hour, I’ve been flogging on “Better Things” and “20th Century Man.”

If we can find the right proportion of tequila for the mix, this could be good.

-Hey, the girls are asking about the snow sculpture, got pix?

This guy is GREAT! Where the heck did Texas find him? I'm starting to understand about emigration to Texas... check out his site: www.kinkyfriedman.com
And all we got is a blonde bimbo who forgives her adulterous husband...

I thinkI've got this blogging thing figured out, although signing into the Google account wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I know who Kinky Friedman is. He's been around for awhile. Not only is he a songwriter, but he's also written a number of books, mysteries, I think. Is he coming to the reunion? If becomes governer, is the White House the next step?
